Stoeva sisters won the Swiss open 2022

Two-time European champions Gabriela and Stefani Stoeva won the women's doubles their at the World Tour Super 300 badminton tournament in Basel.

At the finals, the Bulgarians, who were number 3 in the ranking scheme, defeated the Germans Linda Effler and Isabelle Lohau 21:14, 21:12 in 41 minutes.

"We finally did it - we won our first World Tour Super 300 title. Thanks to our coaches for believing in us and to everyone for their support," wrote Stefanie Stoeva on Instagram.

It was the fourth time the Bulgarians played in a final in the Swiss city after 2017, 2018 and 2021.
