Bulgarian entrepreneurs called on the government to change the power price compensation scheme and abolish the energy aid ceiling. The nationally represented employers' organizations call for a meeting with Bulgaria’s Premier and ministers to negotiate emergency measures in the energy field.

Today, the price of electricity for non-household consumers has been fluctuating between EUR 420 and EUR 598 per MWh. In the coming days, non-household electricity prices are expected to reach EUR 800 per MWh, representatives of the Bulgarian Industrial Association noted and warned of high unemployment, social tensions and economic collapse.
