Emil Eftimov: Bulgaria is ready to arrange the movement of allied forces on Bulgarian territory

NATO has activated its graduated response plans to protect the Alliance's eastern flank. In parallel, the Supreme Allied Commander Europe has taken a number of measures to increase preparedness for deterrence and coordinated allied response to possible escalation – Bulgaria’s Chief of Defense Admiral Emil Eftimov said in the Council of Ministers building.

"Bulgaria is ready to arrange the movement of allied forces on Bulgarian territory. Our army remains committed to maintaining readiness for participation in allied activities", said the Chief of Defense.
