Bulgaria takes cyber security measures

To ensure Bulgaria’s cybersecurity, against the backdrop of rising hybrid attacks, experts from the Bulgarian Ministry of E-government and the cyber security unit of the Directorate General Combating Organized Crime have filtered or discontinued traffic from more than 45,000 Internet addresses which have been a source of malicious attack on electronic systems or networks.

Telecom operators and companies offering public communication services on Bulgarian territory have been instructed to filter or discontinue, when it is technically possible, malicious Internet traffic, BGNES reports.
