Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodora Genchovska is in Paris for a ministerial forum on co-operation in the Indo-Pacific Region (ITR), the Foreign Ministry's press office reported.

The meeting is organized by France in the framework of its Presidency of the Council of the EU. The aim is to promote a balanced dialogue between European and Asian partners, focusing on the strategic challenges of cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region. Security and defense, as well as connectivity and digital technologies are among the priorities. Keeping in mind the region's growing importance in the world economy and politics, the partnership with the ITR is seen as crucial because of the effect of its security and stability on that of the EU.
