It has been 700 days since the beginning of Covid-19 pandemic. 50 people are dying from the virus in Bulgaria every day on average, pulmonologist Dr. Alexander Simidchiev said for Nova TV.

Vaccination rate has decreased sharply, which is due to the talking that the Omicron variant causes less severe disease, Alexander Simidchiev noted. In his words, the green certificate is not effective, because the anti-epidemic measures are not observed. The decision regarding the abolition of the green certificate will be made by the cabinet, not the National Assembly, said Alexander Simidchiev . Dr Simidchiev contends that masks must remain mandatory in indoor public places.
