Thousands of police officers and firefighters hold protest for higher salaries

Thousands of police officers, firefighters and prison guards from all over the country have held a protest in front of the National Assembly in Sofia. They are dissatisfied with the lack of salary hikes in the ministry and said that inflation in the country in recent months has practically "melted" their previous salary rise. Next week, the Security Sector will hold talks with Prime Minister Kiril Petkov and Interior Minister Boyko Rashkov.
