Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe’s Chief of Staff visits Sofia

Bulgaria’s Chief of Defense Admiral Emil Eftimov is organizing an annual conference themed "Adapting the structure, planning and utilization of Bulgaria’s armed forces to NATO's concept of deterrence and defense in the Euro-Atlantic area."

 The conference will be held on February 8 and 9, 2022. Bulgaria’s Minister of Defense Stefan Yanev and the senior command of the Bulgarian Army will attend the event. Admiral Joachim Rühle, Chief of Staff at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe, arrives in Sofia to take part in the conference, Bulgaria’s Ministry of Defense announced.
