Change is not just about replacing one government for another. The change should be in policies that the state makes, in building of a new type of public relations. This change was started by President Rumen Radev, Vice President Iliana Yotova said at a discussion "Power and Leadership 25 Years Later", organized by the Nikolay Dobrev Institute.

The Vice President pointed out that since the first day in office she and Rumen Radev have spoken openly and honestly about wrong management decisions, lawlessness, authoritarianism, incompetence.

According to the Vice President, one of the main conclusions from the events that took place 25 years ago is that there can be national unity formed only around principles and priorities and not around individuals or parties. She pointed out that authoritarian leadership was a path to nowhere and that democratic leadership meant governing in dialogue and in search of consensus.
