Grigor Dimitrov qualifies for the second round of Australian Open, Viktoriya Tomova drops out of the tournament

Bulgaria’s best tennis player Grigor Dimitrov has advanced to the second round of Australian Open for the 11th time. Dimitrov defeated 6:4; 4:6; 6:3; 7:5 Jiri Lehecka (Czechia). The match lasted for 2.48 hours. Grigor Dimitrov played versus Lehecka for the first time in his career. The Czech tennis player made his debut in Australian Open. In the second round Grigor Dimitrov will play versus Benoit Paire of France who ranks 56th in the ATP ranking.

Viktoriya Tomova dropped out of the Australian Open. She was defeated 3:6; 3:6 by Alize Kornet (France) in the first round of the tennis tournament in Melbourne.
