The Sofia City Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment in court against Bulgarian National Union leader Boyan Stankov, also known as Boyan Rasate, who was charged with hooliganism and personal injury. This has happened two months after the attack against the LGBTI Community Center “Rainbow Hub” in Sofia.

A meeting themed "Help for Transgender People" was taking place in the center at the time of the attack. The investigation began after the Central Election Commission lifted the immunity of presidential candidate Boyan Stankov. Initially, he was arrested for 72 hours. Later, Rasate was released on EUR 2,500 bail.
