Colder weather expected in Bulgaria on Tuesday

Colder weather is expected in Bulgaria over the next days, with cloudy skies and rainfall in most parts of the country, turning to snow. A snow cover will form in most parts of the country. Temperatures will drop and will range between minus 1 °C and 4 °C. 

It will be cloudy with snowfalls over the mountains. Strong, stormy winds from the east-northeast will blow. Gusts will form along the mountain passes. It will continue to get cold and the maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be about minus 4 °C, at 2,000 m - about minus 7 °C.
Above the Black Sea coast it will be cloudy with rain and snow, significant along the southern coast. A strong northeast wind will blow. The prevailing temperatures will be between 1 °C and 5 C°. The temperature of the sea water will be at 8 °C -10 °C.
