The Ministry of Agriculture will insist on increased resources for state aid in the sector in the 2022 budget, Minister Ivan Ivanov told the BNR. According to him, the moment is extremely unfavourable for agriculture and one of the reasons is the high price of energy.

"Manufacturers are under pressure, and this will affect the price of the final products," he said.
According to him, "there is literally a war for land" in which different players are involved - some are landowners, others are land users, and others are both. This is the reason for the complaints of small farmers that they are harmed at the expense of large ones.
The minister said this imbalance was yet to be resolved.
