Real estate agents warn that the rates at which real estate prices are going up in Bulgaria are outpacing the rise in household incomes, and that this could result in an inability to pay off credits.
Last year the prices of real estate rose by 20%, but in 2022 experts expect the market to calm down and prices to continue to rise by no more than 5%-6%. The new construction market is beginning to get back to normal unless the rise in the prices of building materials continues.
