AstraZeneca vaccines return to Bulgaria

4,800 doses of AstraZeneca's Covid-19 vaccine have been delivered to Bulgaria today, January 7, the Ministry of Health announced. They are intended for primary vaccination - 1st and 2nd dose, not for a booster shot.

Deliveries of AstraZeneca vaccines have been suspended in Bulgaria due to low interest in them. As regional health inspectorates have recently reported demand by citizens who wish to be vaccinated with this medicinal product, Bulgaria has again provided supplies of this vaccine.
