The decision of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission to increase the price of gas by 30% on January 1 shows that the regulator is not doing its job. I hope the parliament will replace the chairman of the commission, Prime Minister Kiril Petkov told Nova TV.

A proposal to deploy NATO troops in Bulgaria had not been discussed, the prime minister said, expressing hope for de-escalation of tensions in Ukraine following talks between Russia and the United States.
