Bulgaria reports double decline in new infections the last 24 hours

1,033 are the new cases of coronavirus in the country for the last 24 hours. This is the lowest number since the beginning of the week and almost twice less than the 1,966 new infections registered the day before. 76.38% of the newly infected persons have not been vaccinated. 4.2% of the 24,343 tests performed are positive, according to the coronavirus.bg portal.

There are currently 97,317 registered active patients. 146 infected patients were admitted to hospitals. 89% of them are not immunized. 4,047 patients are now hospitalized as 467 of them are in intensive care.
In the last 24 hours, 40 people have died with an established Covid-19 infection. 34 of them were not vaccinated. There are 295 recoveries.
1,186 vaccines were administered on Friday. With completed immunization are 1,897,154. A total of 251,047 people have received a booster dose.
