More than 400 books were sold at a charity Christmas bazaar in the town of Silistra (Northeastern Bulgaria) in support of victims of domestic violence and human trafficking.
The books were donated by residents of Silistra. Some of them are new and were bought especially for the initiative. Nearly EUR 1,600 have been raised in just two days, the correspondent of the Bulgarian National Radio said.
The charity Christmas bazaar “Book of Hope” is being held for the third consecutive year. EUR 1,800 was raised in the first two editions of the charity initiative.
