Bulgaria reports 1,463 new cases of Covid-19 out of 25,998 tests performed

25,998 tests performed, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 5.6% of the tests have returned positive result. 77.5% of the new Covid-19 cases are among the unvaccinated. The highest number of new infections was reported in Sofia-361, followed by Plovdiv-137 and Varna-129.

4,241 patients are being treated in hospital, as 493 of them are in intensive care units. 410 patients have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 85.6% of the new hospitalizations are among the unvaccinated. 56 people with established coronavirus infection have died and 1,305 have been reported cured in the past 24 hours. 95% of the Covid-19 related deaths are among the unvaccinated. There are 95,970 active cases of Covid-19.

16,502 vaccines were administered on Wednesday. 1,890,723 people have completed their vaccination cycle. 244,321 have had a booster shot.
