Kornelia Ninova: No pensioners in Bulgaria will be living under the poverty line

“No pensioners in Bulgaria will be living under the poverty line. We are to work on a new model to recalculate pensions”, MP Kornelia Ninova who was nominated for Deputy Premier and Minister of Economy, said from the Parliament’s rostrum. 

In her words, there will be free medicines for children aged 14 or under. The young parents who stay at home to take care of their children during the coronavirus pandemic, will be entitled to one minimum monthly salary. Every Bulgarian citizen must have access to healthcare and should not pay huge amounts of money for health, Kornelia Ninova further said. 

5% of this country’s gross domestic product will be earmarked for education. 1% of the GDP will be spent on culture, Kornelia Ninova added:
