Coronavirus: 88% of new hospital admissions are with non-vaccinated citizens

In the last 24 hours, 1,827 cases of coronavirus have been identified in Bulgaria from 36,141 tests performed, according to data from the National Coronavirus Information Portal. 5.2% of the samples gave a positive result. Nearly 81% of newly infected people have not been vaccinated. 

The highest number of new cases is in Sofia - 396, in Plovdiv - 190, and in Varna - 129. 
There are 5,411 patients in hospital - 643 of them in intensive care units. 88% of the new 443 hospital patients have not been vaccinated. 
103 people have died - over 95% of them have not been immunized, while 2,130 persons have been cured. 
There are now 98,103 active cases of Covid-19 in Bulgaria. 
Yesterday, 18,835 doses of vaccine jabs were administered. 1,828,842 people have completed immunization. 156,489 Bulgarians have also received a booster dose.
