Classes will have in-person attendance if 30% of the pupils undergo testing or have a green certificate

Classes will have in-person attendance if 30% of the pupils in them want to go back to class with testing or with a green certificate – the document certifying vaccination, recovery from Covid-19, antibody levels or negative laboratory test result.

The new requirement takes effect on 15 December. Remote schooling is envisaged if consent is not obtained for child-friendly testing. This decision was reached today by the Ministry of Education, the trade unions, and the employers in the system of education.

The current requirement is for distance learning for the classes if there is no consent for testing or a green certificate for 50% of the schoolchildren in them.
