For 119 years, December 8 has been more than just the Day of University Students in Bulgaria. It is a symbol of youth and of an independent spirit, of bold ideas and dreams, of freedom and vision for the future. No pandemic can change this, despite the difficulties for the academic community. With these words the Minister of Education, Academician Nikolay Denkov, congratulated university students in Bulgaria on their holiday.

It is a myth that higher education in Bulgaria is not of high quality. It is proven by the fact that our graduates find successful professional careers around the world. Bulgarian universities are already joining European university networks. Therefore, I urge you to make the most of the opportunities of Bulgarian universities. The road to a successful professional path passes through them,  Denkov said.
