Bulgaria can be a leader in innovation in the region, this country’s President Rumen Radev said during the Seventeenth National Innovation Forum.
"Bulgaria climbed two positions and ranks 35th in the Global Innovation Index 2021, which identifies trends in innovation across 132 countries. This is Bulgaria’s best performance since 2013. I am proud that Bulgaria places first in Europe in terms of the number of female scientists working in the field of science and technology", President Radev further said.
