The Ministry of Foreign Affairs starts work on the creation of a mobile application that would be helpful to Bulgarians abroad. It will provide real-time information on risks when traveling abroad and will help to quickly contact the Ministry's Crisis Management Center. Functionality will also be provided for sending a signal for assistance or evacuation of Bulgarian citizens affected by disasters abroad.
The application is being developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway under a project for equipment for the Crisis Management and Disaster Response Centre in Sofia, as extensive Norwegian experience in the field is being used.
