Number of registered Covid patients in Bulgaria drops below 100,000

There were 2,426 new coronavirus cases in the past day. Over 81% of them were among the non-vaccinated citizens. 7% of 35,004 tests returned positive result, according to the portal coronavirus.bg.

The number of registered Covid patients is 99,483. For the first time since October, the number of hospitalized people is less than 6,000 or 5,780. The number of new hospital admissions reached 740. 86% of them are non-vaccinated. There are 624 patients in intensive care. 95% of them are without immunization.

In the past 24 hours 208 people with Covid lost their lives. 195 of them were non-vaccinated citizens. The number of recoveries reached 3,546.

11,866 vaccines were administered on Monday. 1,808,240 people have completed the immunization cycle. 131,352 people already have a third vaccine dose.
