Bulgaria reports 113 Covid-19 deaths in past day

2,370 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 30,737 tests performed, data of coronavirus.bg indicate. 8% of the tests have returned positive result. 79.8% of the newly infected people were unvaccinated.

There are 105,178 active cases of Covid-19. 609 patients were admitted to hospital in the past day, as 83.9% of them were unvaccinated. 6,758 patients are being treated in hospital, as 787 of them are in intensive care units.

113 people have died and 3,008 have been reported cured in the past day. 89% of the Covid-19 deaths are among the unvaccinated.

21,122 vaccines were administered in Bulgaria on Thursday. 1,737,588 people have completed their vaccination cycle. 79,155 people have had a booster dose.
