Bulgaria reports 245 Covid-19 deaths in past day

3,462 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 37,593 tests performed, data of coronavirus.bg show. 9% of the tests have returned positive result.

254 people with established coronavirus infection have died in the past day. More than 92% of them were non-vaccinated.

There are 106,516 active cases of Covid-19. 1,004 people have been admitted in hospital in the past 24 hours. More than 88% of the new hospitalizations were among the unvaccinated. A total of 7,168 patients are being treated in hospital, as 775 of them are in intensive care units. 4,777 people have been reported cured in the past day.

15,865 vaccines were administered in Bulgaria on Monday. 1.7 million is the number of people who are now fully vaccinated. 65,000 have had a booster dose.
