The number of hospitalizations has gone down – from 7,924 to 7,737, but the number of patients being treated in intensive care wards is up – from 725 to 767. The number of new hospitalizations in the past day is 779, more than 88% of them among the unvaccinated.

There is a slight decline in the number of coronavirus patients who have died in the past day, though the number remains high – 121. More than 90% of these deaths are among the unvaccinated, 4,193 is the number of recoveries reported.

22,153 doses of vaccine were administered on Tuesday. 1,647,300 is the number of people in the country now fully vaccinated.
