"The incidence of Covid-19 in Bulgaria is declining, but mortality is still high. It is a reflection of the patients who were registered about 2 weeks ago. This is a pattern that we expect to begin to decline soon." This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Health Dimitar Petrov, the Unified Information Portal reports.

Currently in Bulgaria there are no more areas with a morbidity of over 1,000 per 100,000 people. The decline in morbidity for the country is 30% compared to the previous 7 days. However, Kardzhali is the only district in the yellow zone with a morbidity of 219 per 100,000 people on a 14-day basis, according to the portal.
