During the January-August 2021 period, Bulgaria has increased its export of commodities to the EU by 23.5% compared to the same period of 2020, to reach 28.796 billion Leva (14.723 billion euro). Imports from the EU have also gone up by 25%, to reach 29.026 billion Leva (14.841billion euro).
