Bulgaria’s caretaker cabinet approved a report on the implementation of the state budget for the first 9 months of 2021. At the end of September, the fiscal surplus exceeded EUR 500 million. According to this country’s Ministry of Finance, revenue collection is going according to plan. However, the planned capital expenditure is lagging behind schedule. It amounts to EUR 61 million, whereas the planned capital expenditure is to the tune of EUR 1.2 billion.
