Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 9 November 2021

Drop in temperatures expected in Bulgaria on Tuesday

On Tuesday, cold air will enter the country with moderate northwesterly winds and northeasterly winds in the eastern parts. The weather will be cloudy with rain showers expected in Northern and Eastern Bulgaria. Temperatures will begin to drop. The minimum temperatures will be between 8 °C and 13 °C, and the highs will range between 12 °C to 17 °C, for the region of Sofia up to 12 °C.

Above the mountains it will be cloudy with intermittent showers and above 2,200 m snowfall is expected. Strong west-northwesterly winds are expected. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be up to 9 °C, at 2,000 m around 4 °C. In the resorts of Borovets and Pamporovo daytime highs will reach 8 to 10 °C.
On Wednesday, temperatures will continue to fall, no rain in expected.
