“The green certificate is working well and is paying off. We have data that the trend of the pandemic is turning. The 14-day coronavirus positivity rate is beginning to go down,” Deputy Minister of Health Alexander Zlatanov stated.

Experts are categorical that there is no need to take an antibody test before vaccination. Next week the ministry is to decide whether the presence of antibodies can warrant the issuing of a green certificate, Deputy Minister Toma Tomov on his part said.

The Covid-19 incidence rate in Bulgaria on a two-week basis is 928 per 100,000 residents, data of the National Centre of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases shows. There are only two regions of the country still remaining outside the dark-red epidemic zone.
