Bulgaria reports 135 daily Covid deaths, 4,922 new infections

4,922 is the number of coronavirus infections out of 39, 957 tests performed in the country in the past 24 hours, 86% of them among the unvaccinated. The coronavirus positivity rate is 12.3%, National Coronavirus Information Portal data indicate.  

135 people with established Covid-19 have died in the past day, 93% of them are unvaccinated.

954 is the number of new hospitalizations in the past 24 hours, 90% of them among the unvaccinated. 8,191 patients are being treated in hospital, 715 of them in intensive care. 107,948 is the number of registered active cases, the number of registered daily recoveries is 2,382.

19,553 doses of vaccine have been administered over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of vaccinations up to 2,913,044. The number of people now fully vaccinated in the country stands at 1,538,928.
