Incident temporarily stops gas supplies to Serbia, Romania and Hungary

On November 1, at 3 o'clock in the morning, a gas pipeline of Bulgartransgaz in the area of the village of Vetrino broke. A section of the old gas pipeline to Romania ruptured, it was reported. The transmission of natural gas to Romania was automatically stopped at 3.15 am and the supply to the direction of Serbia and Hungary was stopped at 7 am. After 8 o'clock in the morning, the transfer to Romania was partially restored.

The emergency groups of the company are on site and the damaged section of the gas pipeline will be replaced as soon as possible. No one was hurt in the area of the incident and no material damages have been inflicted on third parties.
