Bulgarian serviceman partcipating in EU operation Althea shot dead in Sarajevo

A serviceman from the Bulgarian military contingent participating in the European Union operation Althea was found dead with a gunshot wound today at 9.20 am Bulgarian time at camp Butmir in the city of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The case was announced by the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense. 

The medical team that arrived from the base found the man dead. 
The officials from Military Police from the composition of the operation have been notified, as they have taken immediate actions to investigate the incident. 
An organization has been set up to transport the body of the serviceman to Bulgaria by an Air Force aircraft.
