The caretaker cabinet is doing its best to avoid introducing a lockdown, this country’s caretaker Premier Stefan Yanev said. He voiced hopes that coronavirus morbidity will plateau in the coming days.
“The mandating of the Covid-19 Green Certificate made many people undergo coronavirus testing, which helped us uncover the so-called hidden morbidity”, Premier Yanev went on to say. In his words, the authorities are now working to expand the scope of the green certificate, which would allow people who were diagnosed with Covid-19 via rapid antigen tests in Covid-19 laboratories, to receive green certificates. The tenders for the purchase of child-friendly Covid-19 tests will be evaluated tomorrow. However, Premier Yanev did not specify when children could return to school. The preparations for the forthcoming two-in-one elections are running smoothly, Stefan Yanev added.
