Government promises free tests for workers in places requiring green certificate

The validity of the certificate for people who recovered from Covid-19 is extended from 6 to 12 months, the Minister of Health Stoycho Katsarov has reported at a briefing.

The vaccination document after the first dose will also be valid as a certificate for 1 month while waiting for the second dose. Until October 25, no fines will be issued during inspections of the health authorities checking for violations in the implementation of the new anti-epidemic measures, in order to test the system, Deputy Minister Dimitar Petrov added.

Free antigen tests would be provided for employees in the sites included in the requirement for a green certificate, Katsarov also said.

For the second night running, a protest is taking place in Sofia against the green certificates. this time in front of the Presidency building, BNR's Evelina Stoyanova reports.
