Bulgaria reports 2,485 new daily infections of Covid-19

During the last 24 hours, a total of 2,485 cases of coronavirus have been identified from the 21,775 tests performed, according to data from the National Coronavirus Information Portal. 11.4% of the samples gave a positive result.

86.2% of the newly infected persons were not vaccinated. The highest number of new cases is in Sofia - 589, in Varna - 231 and in Plovdiv - 220. 
There are currently 5,453 patients in hospital - 462 of them in intensive care units. 88.7% of newly admitted patients are not vaccinated. 
81 people died in the past day as 95% of them were not immunized. 
The active cases number 49,828. Yesterday, 7,210 doses of vaccines against coronavirus were given and with them their total number is 2,585,160. A total of 1,359,501 people are with a completed immunization cycle.
