Weather forecast for Bulgaria for October 9, 2021

Cold and windy weather on Saturday in Bulgaria's western parts, warmer in the east

On Saturday the weather in Bulgaria will remain cloudy, in many places with precipitation, more significant in Western Bulgaria. A light wind will blow in Eastern Bulgaria to a strong northeast wind. The maximum temperatures will range from 6 °C in the northwest to 16 °C in the southeast, in the region of Sofia - to 7 °C.

Along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast it will be cloudy with rain showers in certain places. Maximum air temperatures will be between 15 and 16 °C, and the temperature of the sea water - up to 17-18 °C. The sea state - slight to rough.

In the mountains it will be cloudy and foggy with moderate wind. Rainfall is expected as above 1,700 metres snowfall is possible. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be up to 5 °C, at 2,000 m around 0 °C. In the resorts of Borovets and Pamporovo the thermometres will show up to 5 °C, in Bansko - up to 7 °C.

On Sunday it will be cloudy with precipitation mainly in the western half of the country, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology predicts.
