Bulgaria records rising number of Covid-19 patients

2,302 are the new cases of coronavirus in the country for the past 24 hours, or 240 fewer infections than on Thursday. 85% of the newly infected persons are nonvaccinated. 12.2% of the 18,808 tests performed returned positive. Compared to the previous 24 hours, there is a decrease in the indicator of 1.6 percent, according to the portal coronavirus.bg.

The number of actively registered patients increased by 636 and now their number has reached 49,352. A total of 5,374 people are treated in hospitals, 463 are in intensive care units. 88% of new hospital patients are without vaccination. 
The death toll with established Covid-19 for the day is 94 persons. 90 percent of the deceased were unvaccinated. 1,572 people are reported as having recovered from the disease.
A total of 7,716 vaccines were administered on Thursday in Bulgaria. There are now 1,354,896 Bulgarian citizens with full immunization.
