Bulgaria reports more than 2,500 new Covid-19 cases for the first time since March

2,536 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 24,032 tests performed, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 10.55% of the tests have returned positive result. Bulgaria has reported more than 2,500 new infections for the first time since March. The highest number of new cases was reported in Sofia-572. There are 42,444 active cases of Covid-19. 

5,048 patients are being treated in hospital, 432 of them in intensive care units. 149 people have died and 2,268 have been reported cured in the past day.

5,215 vaccines were administered in Bulgaria on Monday. 1,312,649 is the number of people who are now fully vaccinated.
