Maya Manolova calls for temporary ban on electricity exports

Photo: BGNES

The leader of the Civic Platform "Stand Up.BG" Maya Manolova believes that a possible temporary ban on the export of electricity will allow cheap electricity from Kozloduy NPP to be for Bulgarian companies and households. In Vidin, where she met with citizens today, Manolova demanded that the government urgently compensate companies and households for the increase in the price of electricity, heating and water.

According to Manolova, the compensation for the electricity of businesses will cost the budget between 75 and 90 million euros per month, and support for households for heating - about 5 million euros per month, and for electricity - 15 million euros.
