There is a third candidate for head of Bulgarian football

Hristo Portochanov is officially a candidate for President of the Bulgarian Football Union - BFU. He announced his candidacy at a press conference in Burgas. Portochanov will compete with the current head Borislav Mihailov and candidate Dimitar Berbatov.

The extraordinary congress of the Bulgarian Football Union is scheduled for October 12. On this occasion, Berbatov's headquarters said that 20 days before the date, the union had not yet officially announced the rules for nominating a candidate for president of the Bulgarian Football Union and the rules for holding the congress. The statement recalls that according to the regulations of the Bulgarian Football Union, candidacies for chairman can be filed to 15 days before the congress, which means that the deadline for this is September 27.
