The Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association has asked the government for a short-term measure to provide energy aid to Bulgarian business. The industry is calling for compensation for the consumed electricity in the period October 1 to March 31, 2022 totaling 35 euros per megawatt hour. The subsidy will be adequate to preserve the Bulgarian economy until the current energy price crisis is overcome, according to the association.
