Bulgaria launches raffle for vaccinated people

Bulgaria’s Ministry of Health will organize a raffle for those who receive a Covid-19 vaccine, caretaker Minister of Tourism Stela Baltova said an in interview for Nova TV. 

"Bulgarians who decide to get a Covid-19 jab may win a tablet or a watch", explained Minister Baltova. "The introduction of food vouchers for vaccines is not being considered", noted Stela Baltova and added that all representatives of the tourism industry will be supported during the pandemic. ''The 60/40 wage support scheme will continue with amended terms. Tour guides will be able to benefit from this measure as well. The sector is optimistic about the forthcoming winter tourist season. No hotels are expected to close during the season. Some hotels and tour operators have already received stickers “100% vaccinated staff”, added Minister Baltova.
