Restaurants in Sofia violate working hours regulations

Photo: Archive

The health authorities and the police carried out inspections in the capital to establish whether the new anti-epidemic measures are being observed and again came across working establishments. This comes amid protests across the country in the affected industries, led by restaurateurs and hoteliers who are boycotting the restrictions.

In most of the establishments violating the order of the Minister of Health, the owners were not found, but nevertheless protocols were drawn up for them. The sanction for individuals is up to BGN 1,000, and for legal entities up to BGN 2,000.
The new regulations provide for restaurants to work from 7 am to 11 pm.
