Weather forecast for Bulgaria for Saturday, September 18, 2021

On Saturday the weather will be cloudy. Showers and thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon hours. Strong northwesterly winds are in the forecast for the Danubian Plain and the Upper Thracian Plain. Maximum temperatures will range from 22°C to 30°C in the southern regions of the country, in Sofia-22°C.

Along the Black Sea coast, the weather will be cloudy as well. Occasional showers are possible in some parts of the seacoast. Winds are also in the forecast. The maximum temperatures will range from 25°C along the northern coastline to 28°C in Burgas and Pomorie. The seawater temperature is 22°C. Sea state-2.

Over the mountains, the weather will be cloudy. Local showers and strong to gusty northwesterly winds are expected. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will reach 20°C, at 2,000 meters- 12°C. In the resorts of Borovets and Pamporovo the maximum temperatures will reach 18°C, in Bansko-25°C.

In the coming days the weather will continue windy. The minimum temperatures will range from 13°C to 18°C. The maximum temperatures will be between 23°C and 28°C, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology forecasted.
