Bulgaria to buy a new single-dose vaccine against coronavirus

Bulgaria's caretaker cabinet has decided to buy 10,000 doses of the coronavirus vaccine from Sanofi Pasteur and Sanofi/GlaxoSmithKline, the government's press service said. The vaccine is a single-dose antigen vaccine, stored at temperatures between + 2 ° and + 8 ° C at this stage is recommended to be used in patients who have been ill or vaccinated with another preparation, and not for primary immunization. 

The Sanofi product is an alternative vaccination option for people with contraindications to other types of vaccines. The earliest deliveries of the preparation are expected in the first half of 2022.
